This course develops deep thinking and a different perspective in students to understand how the world functions. Critical thinking is vital to evaluating a nation’s political parties and impacts of leadership changes. Qualified political scientists study different models of leadership from a historical perspective regarding the relative effectiveness of different approaches. Political science is the study of political values, institutions, processes, and policies, of people and societies struggling with enduring issues such as war and peace, order and freedom, and justice and equality.
